Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Break Another Royal Tradition with Private Birth Plan

Prince William and Prince Harry

"The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family", it said.

The royal baby will be here any day now, and parents-to-be Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are breaking tradition and revealing certain details of their birthing plan.

The stance, along with rumours in general have gained special attention online, with netizens reposting the assumptions as well as eagerly speculating about whether a royal member, who lives largely on British taxpayers' money, is entitled to privacy around child birth.

While William, 36, and Harry, 34, still attend formal events together - most recently on April 4, when they joined dad Charles to support their shared passion for conservation at the premiere of the Netflix documentary Our Planet - they don't spend much time together and have separate groups of friends. We can also expect the new Royal Sussex Instagram account to post about the baby's arrival, too!

The Duchess of Sussex is now on maternity leave - meaning she didn't join her husband on his visit to Dagenham yesterday (Thursday) - and is expected to give birth in the coming weeks.

They said in their statement they were grateful for the goodwill messages they had received from around the world. With a keen interest in design and interior, the Duchess will no doubt have had a lot of involvement in the décor of their new home and will be using her time putting the finishing touches to the baby's nursery.
