Late night TV hosts unite to counter Trump punches

In the latest in the ongoing war of words between American television's late-night hosts and US President Donald Trump, three of American television's biggest stars featured in a short video Tuesday in which they debated how to respond to Trump.

Kimmel didn't participate in the bit, but they brought in Conan to the call, telling him they're talking about Trump. In the sketch, Colbert calls Fallon on a video chat. It led to Trump calling out Fallon on Twitter, to which "The Tonight Show" host responded with a donation in Trump's name to a Texas charity providing legal services to immigrants.

Trump has long held a grudge against Colbert because his show lampoons the president on a daily basis. Colbert disagrees, saying, "Well, that's not right". "Conan", O'Brien's late-night TBS show, didn't feature an original episode Tuesday. "Listen, Mr. President. I will not stand here and let you talk that way about James Corden", he joked.

It followed Trump disparaging them at a SC rally on Monday. "Hey lowlife!" Fallon says, to which Colbert replies, "Hey lost soul!" Fallon says he heard Trump said they are "all no-talent, lowlifes, lost souls". And remember, please be civil. "The real-estate guy who sells steaks?" he asks incredulously. "He's president? Wow. How's he doing?" "If we're not careful, this thing could start to get ugly", O'Brien said before inviting the other late-night stars to watch him shave his chest. He then went on to refer to Stephen Colbert as "the guy on CBS" with "no talent".

Mexico dominates in match against South Korea, wins 2-1
Mexico will clinch their place in the next round if Germany fail to beat Sweden in the other Group F game later on Saturday. But history was not on Mexico's side because it had not won back-to-back matches at a World Cup since 2002.

"What do you want to eat?"

Fallon had received criticism for his interview in which, apart from imitating Trump, he tousled the Republican candidate's hair and asked few inconvenient questions.

While Trump has targeted quite a few famous people since he entered politics, he's taken particular issue with the late night shows he's appeared on, like Colbert's The Late Show.
