Trump Says Watchdog Report 'Total Disaster' for Federal Bureau of Investigation and Comey

The report mentioned the texts to be'disappointing and said it could lead to the questioning of the integrity of the 2016 Clin

The inspector general's report, released Thursday, covered the FBI's handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server and was anxiously awaited by Trump.

But it said, “We found no evidence that the conclusions by the prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations; rather, we determined that they were based on the prosecutors assessment of the facts, the law and past department practice.”.

Trumps comments followed the IGs 500-page report that said Comey was “insubordinate” in his handling of the Clinton investigation because he broke agency protocol. Except it kind of did. Later, he told other reporters that "Comey was the ring leader of this whole, you know, den of thieves".

The report found that while Lynch did not discuss the e-mail investigation with Bill Clinton, she failed "to recognise the appearance problem" created by the meeting.

It also said, according to the new IG report, that Comey was deliberately drawing out the Clinton email investigation to help Republicans.

"Mr. Comey, as the FBI Director, was the chief investigator, not the prosecutor".

The committees" memo also says it appears the outcome of the investigation was "predetermined' in May, two months before Comey's press conference and before multiple interviews had taken place.

Meaning what? Not only did the Russians influence the conduct of American officials with a questionable document - the use of forgeries is a long-standing aspect of active measures - but also the American officials involved here knew the material nearly certainly wasn't real. That upset Republicans who said Comey's statement could have helped Clinton's election campaign.

For example, two FBI officials, special agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page, were under intense scrutiny after their text messages were collected during the inspector general investigation and later released to Congress and the public.

NCAA Changes Redshirt Rule
The intent was to discourage coaches from poaching players from other schools and creating a college "free agency". Turman was kept from talking to some schools by Smart in the coach's first spring running the program in 2016.

Weiner had resigned from Congress in 2011 after it was revealed he sent lewd photographs and messages to women. He is likely to use the harsh assessment of Comey as validation for his decision to fire him, an act now central to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into whether the president sought to obstruct justice.

As a leading counterintelligence expert, Strzok was involved in opening the investigation into ties between Trump campaign associates and Russian Federation.

From a political perspective, the news is better still for the White House. Page asked in a text to Strzok. They're the hardest working. Page pinged Strzok and said: Don't you want to join an investigation that could lead to impeachment?

Strzok replies: "No. No he's not".

"I never thought that's what it was". I'm not going to lie, I got a flash of nervousness yesterday about trump. However, I am not convinced there is a substantive basis upon which to believe that is possible. It did not find evidence that those views seeped into the investigation.

Comey later headed a separate probe into the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russian Federation. They simply don't see themselves as being part of the same administration. "My question [was] about whether or not this represented a large, coordinated conspiracy or not". "We'll stop it." Both were initially involved with the Mueller investigation but later removed from the team. Page had already completed her stint on that team and returned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation by that time.

“The IG Report is a total disaster for Comey, his minions and sadly, the FBI, ” Trump tweeted earlier.

Trump is yet again insisting there was "No Collusion and No Obstruction of the fabricated No Crime" and is accusing Democrats of making up "a phony crime", paying "a fortune to make the crime sound real", and then "Collud (ing) to make this pile of garbage take on life in Fake News!"

More importantly than anything, it totally exonerates me. Giuliani also predicted that Strzok would be in jail in the coming days.
